The Community Of Practice in E-Learning (COPE-L) was established by a group of cross-disciplinary faculty and professional staff at UIS.

COPE-L aspires to:

• share knowledge and best practices related to e-learning
• develop informal networks and mutually helpful relationships among members
• identify problems and seek solutions to problems shared by members
• provide opportunities for members to explore and innovate in the area of e-learning.

By maintaining a website and sponsoring outside speakers, COPE-L provides the UIS community an opportunity to discuss research, best practices, and innovations in technology-enhanced, blended, and online learning environments.
